Hours later.
So tomorrow? You get 15 mins, so shoot like crazy. 15 mins? Okay, sure, I'll be there.
Get there. Meet up with a friend who's helping. Walk around the venue. Find awesomeness. Ask to get over head lights put on so we can shoot. Oh you can't shoot here, it's a $3500 fee. Say what?!
Go outside. Everything is grey, drab, ugly. And not the good ugly. Just plain ugly. Crap.
Manager comes into the room. So where are you going to shoot? Outside by the stairs.
We go outside expecting boringness when out of nowhere someone rolls up a big drum. And we are like, ohhh can we use that?
And that was the start of the crazy 15 mins. I've never shot so fast in the my life. I couldn't really even look at the photos I was taking b/c that would have taken too many times. It's moments like that where you hope lighting is fab and that all of your settings are correct.
Here's to crossing my fingers that I got a few usable shots.
Life is full of little adventures. It's about pushing through the set backs and just enjoying the moments that you are given.
