Where's the bow and arrow?

This is Lauren. I haven't even begun to go through her photos. But I thought I'd put up a teaser anyways. Ha! We got lucky yesterday. There was this huge grey cloud looming over the horizon spouting out things like rain and snow. But luckily, hollywood is blessed, the sun was out and shining (only 5 mins away!). The air was cold. But dealable. So we walked up and down the streets of hollywood taking photos and trying to avoid being run over by cars. I've never taken a photo of a person in an Native costume before. There's a first for everything right?

The hell I put myself through

I told myself that I wouldn't do more than 2 or 3 shoots a month. Mostly for my mental health. So that I remember that I have friends and other things to do like go to shows. Well, I completely haven't been listening to myself at all. Somehow, I have 3 shoots just next weekend, and 3 more that I am putting together (and one tomorrow). The good news is that there will be alot of photos for you guys to check out! I hope they are all different and interesting. So stay tuned...

A possibility of snow

It may snow tomorrow, down to 1000 feet. I say that's way too close to home. I have a shoot tomorrow. So it's gonna be cold. As long as it doesn't turn into a winter wonderland shoot, I think I'm okay. =)

You just gotta fight

Have you ever just wanted more? You try and try and try, but the results are always the same. You ask and you ask and you ask, but the results are always the same. It's like you just get this loud screaming no. And you just don't know where to go from there. You can't give up though. That's what they want. They want for you give up. I won't. But that doesn't mean the no's don't hurt. It just means I need to try harder.

So this is Scipio. We've shot more times than I can even keep track of. He always has creative ideas. I just show up and shoot. He tells me when I see him what we're doing. And I have to be prepared. Because you never know, there could be a horse involved. or a security guard threatening us with a gun. Or getting kicked out of the Santa Monica pier. Hmmm. Maybe he's a bad influence. Anyways, he's always trying to be funny and I just use my wonderful sarcasm back. So his look in this shoot kind of varies from high sophicated fashion to rocker. Enjoy!

Victorian shoot

Victorian (sometimes goth) shoot. Shot in simi valley. The model likes good music. We were rocking out to portugal. the man, hot hot heat, the yeah yeah yeahs, can't get much better than that.

No shirt boy again...sorta. If I don't watch it, I'll get type casted.
